Dr. Shih-Jye “CJ” Yei
Dr. Shih-Jye “CJ” Yei was born in Taiwan and raised in League City, Texas. Throughout high school, he led his church youth group’s worship team for four years while also competing in sports.
He went on to attend Texas A&M University – College Station, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with honors, consistently making the Dean’s List. Dr. Yei then pursued his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating in 2015.
After graduation, Dr. Yei honed his skills in pediatric dentistry while working alongside three board-certified pediatric dentists. He has since completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in various dental specialties, with a strong emphasis on advanced implant surgery, bone regeneration techniques, and All-on-X residency.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Yei has been surgically training clinicians across Texas since 2021. He serves as an Implant Education Faculty for live patient hands-on implant surgical courses for both Hiossen Implant Company and the Institution of Dental Advancement.
What truly sets Dr. Yei apart is not only his clinical expertise but also his genuine compassion for patients. He takes the time to listen to their concerns, creating personalized treatment plans that cater to each individual’s unique needs and aspirations. Patients frequently praise Dr. Yei for his warm demeanor, which cultivates a comforting and reassuring atmosphere in the dental chair.

Courses
Dr. CJ Yei, a faculty member for both Hiossen Implant and Institution of Dental Advancement (IDA), has been teaching surgical implant courses with Dr. Lastimado, who is the clinical director for both Hiossen Implant and IDA.
These educational courses coach licensed dentists to surgically plan and place dental implants on live patients. Dr. Yei’s expertise is invaluable in teaching others. These courses also allow Dr. Yei’s own patients to receive free dental implants!!!
In addition to his advanced surgical skillset, Dr. Yei is passionate about guiding and educating other dentists; his knowledge and experience are making a difference in the lives of many.
He has now taken over hundreds of continuing education hours, including advanced implant surgeries to all on x training.
It has been an honor for Dr. Yei to help other doctors in their journey into the dental implant world.
